Welcome to Tango Beso !  

Concept/Vision:

Tango Beso is a Burning Man theme camp to provide a dance hall for Partner Dancing at Burning Man.  We are based in Portland, Oregon, and as you might have guessed from the name, we are mostly Argentine Tango dancers. 

However, the intention is to open our dance hall to any and all types of popular partner dance, including Salsa, Blues, Zydeco, Swing, Ballroom, or whatever. 

 Contact Us  if you want to book some time in our hall, You can see what's Already Scheduled, but please consider some of this TENTATIVE and subject to change. We'll give priority to Partner Dancing, but we'll consider other dancing styles as well.

If you're new to the non-commercial concept of Burning Man, you may not know that this is all free. Just let us know what time slot you want, 24x7, and we'll put you on the schedule! 

 

 What:

 We will have a covered dance floor ~ 1500 sq ft inside a 60' diameter, 30' high   Geodesic Dome.  

It will be a Magical space.

We are open to the world community for suggestions or offers to help with contributions of  time, equipment, money, or just loving encouragement  . We'll appreciate whatever you have to add to the project.

We have set up a yahoo group distribution list for this event. If you're not familar with yahoo groups, here's how it works. First you must be a member of yahoo groups. Then you must join our group, "BurningManTango." Then whenever you or anyone else sends an email to the group, it gets forwarded to everyone that is signed up. The process is easy and safe. Yahoo does not subject you to a lot of ads like topica did, and they never sell your email address to spam lists.

To join yahoo groups, go to:

Click on the link to "sign up" and follow the process.

Once you are a member of yahoo groups, do a search for our group, BurningManTango. There may be more than one group that comes up. Ours is "BurningManTango," with no spaces or underscores. Click on that group and it will take you to the description page. On the right side there is a button that says, "Join this group," Click on it and  follow the process, and you're done.

Then if you want to post a message to the group, send your email to:

If you want to read past messages, log onto your yahoo groups account, select "my groups", select "BurningManTango", and select "messages".
